Help Support our Students & Programs

The College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences is dedicated to providing students with a rich and well-rounded liberal arts education. Donors play a powerful role in ensuring that students continue to thrive.

There are three key areas in which donors can offer crucial support for the College’s programs and students:

  • High Impact Fund: Contributions to this fund provide financial support (stipends) for students engaged in service learning, community-based internships, study abroad, and undergraduate research partnerships with faculty. Through the High Impact Fund, students working their way through college will receive the financial support they need to take full advantage of active learning opportunities outside of the classroom.
  • Scholarships: Contributions to scholarship support students with financial resources to pursue their dreams, based on need or a combination of other criteria.
  • Student Research: Donations to this fund support a valuable experience for students pursuing competitive jobs and post-graduate programs. There are several ways donors can help such as covering conference travel and equipment expenses.

With support in these key areas, our students will have the experiences they need to learn, grow, and create a more equitable society.

Whether it is supporting students directly in the arts, humanities, or social sciences, or investing in the future of our growing University, donors have the power to enrich every student experience at Cal Poly Humboldt.
